Who I am

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest with two complete families and whole baseball team of younger siblings, all of whom I adore. I am a baby catching nurse and worked for 4 years at the University of Washington Medical Center before I decided I was ready for a new adventure. That new phase led me through South America for a year and then back to school where I studied to become a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of California San Francisco. It was at UCSF that I was given the opportunity to apply for a Fulbright Grant, which brings us to today.

Life is full of huge, overwhelming, and incredible transitions. I am starting a new chapter in love, in career, in self discovery. And part of that journey is this year on my own in Cali, Colombia. I am open to life…we’ll see what I find.

This is a fantastic way to do a travel journal. Only it’s better because it seems a bit interactive.
